EduDAO x FranklinDAO Trading Competition Terms and Conditions
These Trading Competition Terms and Conditions (these “Terms and Conditions”) apply to EduDAO x FranklinDAO Trading Competition (the “Competition”). EduDAO x FranklinDAO’s service platforms and sponsors may have additional terms and conditions or rules (the “Applicable Rules”) that will be posted below or otherwise provided to you in each respective track. These Terms and Conditions and the Applicable Rules will govern the Competition and your participation in the Competition. By participating in or registering for the Competition, you represent and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and Applicable Rules.
Competition Administration
EduDAO x FranklinDAO reserves the right, in its sole judgment and discretion which will be final and binding, to reject or disqualify any competitor who is breaching the terms set herein and, in all cases, when EduDAO x FranklinDAO has reasons to believe that the contestant is engaged in fraudulent or otherwise unfair trading methods/practices including but not limited to: a) any competitor caught cheating will be immediately disqualified and blacklisted from future competitions, and b) any competitor caught sharing accounts will be disqualified.EduDAO x FranklinDAO reserves the right to limit participation from certain Ethereum wallet addresses, schools, etc.EduDAO x FranklinDAO reserves the right to modify, update, change, or outright cancel the competition at any time without notice and without any liability to the competitors.EduDAO x FranklinDAO reserves the right to determine competition winners based on any metric the DAO sees fit, at any time, without notice.You will be solely responsible for the tax burden of any monetary prize EduDAO x FranklinDAO conveys to you. Specific Competition rules apply to the Competition include but not limited to:Competitors will not qualify for prizes if they make fewer than:3 trades a week for the Fundamental Track6 trades all other tracksRegistration deadlines: November 4th for regular deadline, November 6th for late deadline. EduDAO x FranklinDAO will not provide any trading or competition advice.The Fundamental Track is limited to students of the following schools:EduDAO schools, Dartmouth, Yale, Brown, Princeton, Stanford, NUSTsinghua, UofT, McGill, UBC, Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech, University of Florida, UT Austin, Caltech, UCLA, UCSD, Duke, USC, LSE, Cambridge, Northwestern, Northeastern, Drexel, UCI, Amherst, Rice, William and Mary, Williams, Bodin, UOregon, University of Michigan, Johns Hopkins, UWaterloo.
Release of liability
You agree to release and hold harmless EduDAO x FranklinDAO, its directors, officers, employees and its sponsors, partners, and its service platforms from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Competition. You agree that EduDAO x FranklinDAO, its directors, officers, employees and its sponsors, partners, and its service platforms are not liable for injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising from participation in the Competition and acceptance, possession and use of the benefits or reward of the Competition.
FTX Additional Rules
Participants must complete KYC2 to be eligible to participate in the fundamental track;Participants must fill out the airtable form;Participants must sign up for FTX or FTX US using their personal email, not their .edu email.
Competition Scoring Criteria:Within the Fundamental Track competition, there will be three different ways to place in the top 3 spots. These criteria are as follows:A singular participant that incurs the highest % PNL will win a prize ($333 USD)A singular participant that prints the most volume will win a prize ($333 USD)A singular participant that completes the largest amount of individual trades will win a prize ($333 USD)NOTE: Stablecoin and Fiat pairs are excluded from this calculationFTX we may provide participants with certain prizing based on milestone achievements during the competition. Total ARV of such prizing shall not exceed $300 USD.
